Finished Photo of my Crochet Baby Blanket, Other News

Crochet Baby Blanket - Crochet by Me - Sunday July 23, 2-17

Crochet Baby Blanket

Size J Crochet Hook

Single and Chain Stiches

2 Skeins of Baby Soft Yarn

I have been crocheting on this on and off over the last couple of months and as of 2 a.m. this morning I finished it.  This is for a Preemie - Small Baby.  The Pattern is real easy.  All it is is Single Crochet and Chain Stitches and that is it.

This Photo does not do the Colors Justice at all.  The colors are:  Blues,  Greens,  Yellows, White, and Pinks.  I made it out of two Skeins of Varigated Baby Soft Yarn.  They are two different Skeins so all of the colors for a Baby are in my Crochet Baby Blanket.  I dearly love this Pattern.

My Church helps with the Women's Care Center so I am donating this to them.  We have Baby Items in a Baby Carriage at my Church in the Narthex and that is where all of the Baby Items that people bring are at.  Than next month all of these Baby Items will be taken to the Women's Care Center for them to use for their Babies.

My next Crochet Project is going to be a Granny Square Afghan.  A good friend of mine who lost her eye sight due to terrible eye disease which right now I can't think of the name of it but I inherited all of her Crocheting Stuff that she ever had.  She started to make Granny Squares and she did not get to finish making them so I now have them and I want to finish making the rest of the Granny Squares that I bought the yarn for and put it together as a Afghan.  I got all of her Crocheting Stuff a few days before she passed away.  I really miss her.  She was a heart of gold sweet caring loving elderly lady.  I want to finish the Afghan in Memory of Her and I am going to keep the Afghan when I am done with making it.  I love sitting and Crocheting.  I mostly do that during the Winter Months but I had to get this Baby Blanket done since I only had til August 6th to get this one finished.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for leaving comments on my last post about my Friend passing away.  Its still hard to see his Pick Up Truck sitting in front of their Garage knowing that that Truck will never be the same again.  I still get choked up once in a while over him passing away.  Thank you so very much for your beautiful comments.

My Book that I am Currently Reading is called "Coming Home" by Rosamunde Pilcher.  This has 934 Pages to it and as of yesterday morning I am on Page 530.  I am reading this on my Kindle Tablet.  This is the only Book that I am currently reading.

My area has been having extreme Hot Humid Weather plus lots of Storms.  I have a Window Air Conditioner in my Bedroom so I spend most of my time in my Bedroom.  I have all of the Ceiling Fans going plus a Box Fan going in the Living Room which does help especially at night after the Sun goes down and the air gets cooler.  Next Spring I am getting Central Air put in.  My Dad had Central Air and Central Heat up until they both died on me so at the time I could only get the Furnance put in since it was Winter Time several years ago and I could not do the Air Conditioning due to Finances.  At the time it was more important to put the Furnance In since it was Winter Time than it was to put in the Central Air.

I think this will do it for now.  Again...Thanks for all of your beautiful Comments.

A Friend of mine passed away this morning at work

Dear Friends

I have some Very Sad News

A Good Close Friend - my girlfriend's youngest brother Donnie - was at work this morning in my town where he works at - he had a heart attack - and died right at work.  He works for a Factory that makes Doors.

My girlfriend sent me a Txt this morning and told me that her brother died while at work and what happen to him.  I called her Mom up this morning and talked to her for a little bit.  I am going to send the whole family a Sympathy Card out tonight.  My girlfriend's Mom lives Cati-corner from me and always has.  All of kids and I grew up together.  My girlfriend and I graduated together from High School.  We are all real close in age.  My girlfriend has one brother left and her Mom left and that is it as far as immediate family relatives.

My Girlfriend and I are both Left Handed - we have the same exact middle name - we both love to read - we both love to Crochet - we both love to do cross stitch.

I will be going to the Viewing and to the Funeral to show my support.  When My Mom passed away my girlfriend and her Mom was there for me so I am going to be there for them.  I can't hardly write this without tears coming down from my eyes.

Donnie use to pick on me all of the time and I would pick right back.  He had a heart of Gold and he would help anybody that needed help if he knew them.  My town is going to be a total loss now without our Donnie - the whole town knew him.  I saw him two weeks ago at McDonalds and that was the last time we talked in person.  He would go to McDonalds during his Lunch Hour and I would go there once a week to have my Lunch and he would walk in with his big Mountain Dew Cup and sit there and have his lunch.

I have lost so many close friends lately within the last month and its just hard.

I didn't do anything during the 4th of July Holiday Weekend...My Town had the Parade and the Fireworks on the 3rd.  It was so ungodly hot and very humid out so I stayed home and read and stitched the whole weekend.  When it is hot and very humid out I stay put.  I do not get out in the hot humid weather due to my Lungs.

I took two more rolls of Film in to CVS to get developed.  I still have two more rolls of Film to get developed and than I won't have no more Film to be developed.

I am going to be Stitching and Reading my Library Book today.  Its Hot outside but its less Humid out as well.

I want to thank each and everyone of you who has been leaving comments on my Blog.  Thank you so very much.  They mean so much to me.  I really appreciate you taking the time to leave your comments.

Take care

Silver Moon Tea Progress

Silver Moon Tea - Mirabilia - Nora Adams - Monday July 3, 2017

Silver Moon Tea

Mirabilia - Nora Adams

28 Count Lugana

2 x 2 Full Cross Stitch

Color Of Fabric - Isolde

I am really enjoying stitching on this one.  I love the Colors - I love the Fabric.  I just love everything about this project.  I am trying to finish up the bottom section of this.  Than I will go to the left and finish that side up and than the top and than finish up the right side.  The Empty Spots are for the Beads which I already have.

I am not going to start another Mirabilia Project until I get this one done.  I am only doing one Mirabilia Project at a time.  I think my next project is going to be the Raven Queen.  I just love this Pattern and I am going to do it on the same color of Fabric that some of you have done her on.

Silver Moon Tea is for me.  I am going to hang it up in my Kitchen when I get this one Framed.

Tonight is my town's Parade and than the Fireworks.  I am not going to either one....if somebody runs into me and I fall - I am done for - I will break a few bones and I do not want to do that.  I stay away from Large Crowds of People.  I will usually hibernate in my house.

My Town use to have a Carnival at the Middle School with lots and lots of activities and Booths and lots of Rides and other things and than at night we would have the Fireworks every year on the 4th of July.  Everything was done on the 4th of July.  Than the Town decided to move all of the 4th of July Activities over to the High School except for the Parade.  But the Carnival - The Booths - all of the other fun stuff got moved over to the high School.  Last year the town decided to just have the Booths.  Guess what?  There were only like 3 Booths in the whole big parking lots of the High School and that was it.  This year - its a very sad affairs - only one Booth and that is it.  Its the Elephant Ear Truck.  I am not even going to go get me a Elephant Ear this year.  I have lost interest in the 4th of July activities.  My Town took everything away from us town people and there is nothing for us to do anymore.  The only things that they did not take away from us is the Parade and the Fireworks but they have changed the Fireworks to Tonight instead of tomorrow night which is actually the 4th.

I am actually down in the dumps because there is nothing to do on the 4th anymore in my town.  Like I said the Town took it away from all of us and its a very sad situation.  They have ruined our 4th of July - there is nothing for the kids to do - no rides - no nothing and kids loves to go on the rides during the 4th of July.  I use to love to stand and watch the rides while I was eating my 4th of July Food.  Now they are begging people in my town to go watch the Parade and to go watch the Fireworks tonight.  Well I am not going to watch either one of them.  I am going to stay home, protect my kitty kat and do my own thing.

That is all for now...

Have A Beautiful Day....

Happy 4th Of July Weekend

Dear Friends

Here in the U.S. we are celebrating 4th of July Weekend.  Many Fireworks, Carnivals, and Parades are going on all over here in the USA.  This is a big Holiday for us here in the USA.  For those of us who lives here in the USA I hope that you all have a very wonderful enjoyable 4th of July Holiday Weekend.  Please stay safe.  Please Do Not Drink or Drive!

We have been having lots of Storms here in Indiana were I live at.  Hope and Pray that it does not Storm tomorrow night.  My Town is having their 4th of July Parade and Fireworks at Dusk.

I have not been able to stitch or to crochet due to severe Muscle Spasms in my Left Shoulder Blade area.  The Crocheting and the Stitching aggravates my Muscle Spasms.  They hurt and sting and burn like Fire and it is not fun at all.  I am very much miserable with my Muscle Spasms.  I have had Muscle Spasms all of my life due to my Bone Condition that I have.  When I was 13 years young I had a severe case of Muscle Spasms to the point of not being able to walk at all.  I ended up in the hospital for three weeks.  It was not fun at all.

My Books that I am Reading are:

The Girls of Mischief Bay by Susan Mallery - Physical Library Hardback Copy

Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher.  I am at my half way point now with this book.  I am reading this on my Kindle Tablet.

War And Peace by Leo Tolstoy - I am reading this on my Kindle Tablet

Assassin Apprentice by Robin Hobb - I am reading this on my Kindle Tablet

I am really enjoying all of these books.  I just take my time in reading them.  Right now as far as my Kindle Book is concern - Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher.  This is the one that I am concentrating on the most right now.  I still have 300 more pages to go yet in this book.  This has 934 Pages to it.

When I get this one done than I will read Assassin Apprentice and War And Peace.

I have added more books to Library Thing Website under my user name.  I try to add some books each day that I own.  Its going to take a while before I am completely finished doing this.

Its been hot and humid the last few days.

My Niece is getting married today and I am so very happy for her and her soon to be husband.

That is all for now....

God Bless You

Very Sad News

Hello Dear Friends

I live in a small town and the School System that is in my Small Town is Super Great.  In fact I graduated from my former High School in my small town.

The High School Band Director whom everybody just loves including his Band Students and well know him as Mr. Fort and that is what we call him.  He is a very awesome Band Director and like I said everybody in my town really likes him.  He is so great with the Kids.  He has been teaching Band at the High School since 1985.  Before that he traveled around the world performing in a Band.

Yesterday afternoon he was out mowing his yard and he lives in my small town and we have been having extreme hot weather lately and continue to do so.  While he was out mowing his yard he had a Massive Heart Attack and died.  His neighbor who I am really good friends with as well she went over and started to give him CPR but he didn't make it.  The Paramedics was right there within 2 seconds and he still didn't make it.  He was in his early 60's.  He leaves behind his Wife, two daughters and a Son.

My Community - my Town - The High School Faculty, All of the Band Members - Present and Former Band Students of his - we all are very shock by his Death.  He was a very tall man and Skinny.  He was a very awesome person all the way around.

I had his two daughters in Day Care when I was working at the Day Care.  We became good friends through the Day Care.  He also had my one nephew and my one niece - Brother & Sister - as Band Students too so he knew my brother since they were in his Band and he knew me from Day Care when I had his two daughters in my Day Care Class.  His Daughters and Son are all grown up now and I think one might be married but not sure on this though.

He was just out on the high school field Thursday Night practicing with the Band Kids.

The Band always march in the 4th of July Parade in my Small Town but due to his death I don't know if they will or not since it is so close to the 4th and since he has passed away.  The Band always marched in front of my house every time there was a Parade in my town.

My Town - My High School - is never going to be the same ever again.  They will not be able to find another Band Teacher like Mr. Fort as we all call him that.  He always had a smile on his face and he always talked to everybody that he came into contact with.  In fact one of this former Band Students is now a Band Teacher at a Huge High School in a different state.  He was a very friendly Band Director Teacher.

We are all so very shock and we are all just devastated over Mr. Fort's Death.

Prayers for my High School - Prayers for my Small Town - Prayers for Mr. Fort's Family - Prayers for all of his Band Students Former and Present.

Thank you

God Bless You
Love & Prayers
