Stitching on 28 Count Lugana

2 x 2 Full Cross Stitch

Sorry about the Crooked Picture...I didn't realize it until after I got it posted ....I will try to have a straighter picture the next time.  I am Stitching on the Pink Dress right now.  There are tons of Flowers and these curly cue things in the dress so I am doing them as I go along so I don't have to do all of these at the very end.  It is much easier for me to do them as I go along.  What you see underneath the Sewing Machine sewing - that is going to be a Quilt.  I thought it was a dress but it isn't.  Its a White Quilt with colorful flowers on them.

This is the only project that I am currently working on right now...I so want to get this one done by Spring so I can take it to my LNS - House Of Stitches - and get this one frame and give it to my girlfriend in the town that I use to live in before I moved back to my hometown.  To this day we are still as close as ever.  She reads but does not do any crafts.

Thanks to all of the Comments that I have received on my last post.  I really appreciate them so very much and they mean so much to me.

The Weather that my area is having this weekend is really nice - lots of Sunshine - warmer temps and the Ice - Snow is slowly melting away.  Hurray for that.  I am so thankful for that.  Today is the very first day that I have not had to go out and shovel since Christmas Day.

Have A Very Wonderful Day - Evening - Morning

Happy Stitching :)

Progress on Beloved Rose Of Sharon

Beloved Rose Of Sharon by Paula Vaughan - More Progress on this - Friday Jan 12, 2018

Beloved Rose Of Sharon by Paula Vaughan

28 Count Ice Blue Lugana

2 x 2 full Cross Stitch

I am slowly getting there...this is my progress as of Thursday Night.  There is tons of Back Stitching and tons of Quarter Stitches.  I am making this for my Friend who pick this pattern out for me to make it for her.  This is my 5th Paula Vaughan Pattern that I have done so far.  I love Paula Vaughan Patterns.  They are so Antique looking and so calming and so very pretty.  I stitch this at night while I am watching TV.

My Area got an Ice Storm the night before last so today I went out and thawed out my poor Frozen Car.  My Car Alarm was stuck so it kept going off whenever I open my car door up or put my key into the Ignition.  It was frozen too so I let it sit for a while.  Than I went back out and I managed to open my car door up without my Alarm going off and to start my car up without my alarm going off.  I let it run til it got up to the half way mark on the temp gauge and while I was letting it run I shoveled around my car and half of my side of the street so the town would not plow me in.  It is snowing and extremely cold out today.  I may go out later this afternoon and shovel around my car so the town does not plow me in.  I am trying to keep my side of the street shovel so that does not happen.  I think we are suppose to get up to 3 inches of snow I think.  I wish it would stop snowing.

I am still reading Miriam's Heart by Emma Miller and Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe.  I love Reading but lately my stitching has taken over my Reading but today and tomorrow I am going to spend these two days Reading.  I am taking a Break from Stitching.

I did start a new project the other night called "QS Library Fairy 5" - It is a HAED Pattern - The Artist is Randal Spangler and the Designer is Michele Sayetta.  I managed to get the first 10 x 10 block done last night.  I will post a picture of this one sometime soon.  I am making this one for my town's New Public Library which will be finished sometime in June.  I am hoping to have this one done by June - at least the Stitching part of it anyways.

I think that is about it for now...I hope that you are all having a very wonderful day - night - morning.  Have A Very Wonderful day!

God Bless You

Have A Safe New Years Eve

Dear Friends

It is really extremely cold out where I live at.  The Outside Temp as I am writing this is only 4 above Zero F.  At Night it gets down into the single digits like -2 to -4 Degrees F.  Now that is cold.  Starting Tonight through Tuesday afternoon the outside temp is going to be a -25 to -35 Windchill and that is during the day time hours and at night as well until Tuesday afternoon.

I went to Dollar General early this afternoon and I got everything that I needed.  Dollar General has ran out of Milk and other Refrigerated Items and they don't have hardly any bread left.  Thank Goodness I was able to get what I needed and what I wanted like Chocolate Ice Cream.  What can I say.

I have been Stitching on Beloved Rose Of Sharon and I finally got the Drawers done on the Sewing Cabinet.  I will take a picture of it tomorrow and post a progress picture of this.

I had a really nice Christmas - and a really Nice Birthday.  I got money for Christmas and a Bath Set from Bath and Body Works.  Than for my Birthday I got taken out for a Steak Dinner.  My older brother and his wife took me to Ponderosa and I got my Steak Dinner.  Oh it was so good.  I also got a Fleece Sweater Jacket too for my Birthday.

My other brother got me a Gift Card from Amazon so I spent most of it and I bought Books and one Music CD with the Gift Card.  I still got money left over yet to spend.

I hope that all of you had a very Merry Christmas.  I am spending the rest of this day at home - I am not going out - today is New Years Eve here in the United States.  It is too cold out and we are suppose to get 3 to 5 inches more of snow today too and tonight.  We will see.

That is all for now....

Have A Safe New Years Eve

Happy New Year

28 Count Lugana 2 x 2 Full Cross Stitch

I am slowly getting this one done. The Worst Section is done now.  I have changed my mind about doing the background.  I am not going to do it.  If I decide to do it I might change the colors of the background cause I don't like the color of the background as the pattern has it.  I like either Blue, Green or Red for my Background.

Thanks for looking...enjoy....

Been So Busy Lately

Dear Friends

Today is the second day of December...where has this year gone to?  I think it went out in Space somewhere!

I have not had any time to post any pictures of my stitching lately...I have been so busy since Thanksgiving and before that as well too.  Maybe Monday I can post my progress pictures after I get back home from the Church Ladies Breakfast.

I had a very Good Thanksgiving with my brother and his wife and my Niece and Nephews and Great Nephews as well.

I have been reading 16th Seduction by James Patterson on my Kindle through the Overdrive App through my Library.  I am half way done with this.  This is my main book that I am currently reading right now.  I am not sure what I am going to read next.  I will be done with this by the end of this coming week.  I love the Overdrive App.  It is so wonderful to use.  I don't have to get in my car and drive to the Library to get my books.  I have enough Physical Books both in Paperback and in Hard Back to read here at home too.  I only have 400 some books on the Wish List through the Overdrive through my Library that I want to read and most of them are Waiting List so they will let me know when a book is available and than I can download the book and read it.  Where I live at we get real bad Winters like from December - February and sometimes March so I don't like to get out and drive when it is really bad out.  Although my Library is only about 6 blocks away the way I have to go to get to my local Library its the streets and than the highway and they get real slippery during the Winter Time.  You can also see What Is New too on the Overdrive App when they get new books in cause they are constantly getting new books in all of the time on the Overdrive App.  I love it...Oh did I say that already.

Buttercup - my kitty - is doing really well now..he is so full of energy and Orniery too.  He is getting bigger by the minute and he is getting a slight tad heavier too.  He loves to be carried around the house and when he wants to be held he will start meowing like crazy.  He loves to be cuddled at night in his Fleece Blanket and held like a baby.  I just love him to death.

I have taken over doing the Card Ministry in the Lydia Circle which I belong to through my Church.  We - The Lydia Circle Ladies and Gentleman - My Pastor comes to the Lydia Circle Meetings along with his wife - we send cards out once a month except for January and February due to the weather to to our Congregation - like a Thinking of You - Get Well - Sympathy - Christmas Cards - Easter Cards - Thanksgiving Cards - type of cards - to our Shut Ins - the lady that was in charge of this she doesn't want to do it anymore - she has the beginning stages of Dementia - and she ask me if I would be willing to help out with this and I said Yes I would love to.  Me and the lady that was in Charge of this - and another lady from my church we met over at the church on Thursday and we made out 53 Cards altogether to send to the people of our Congregation.  Than she turn everything over to me than and I took it all home.  It was all in a great big Cloth Pretty Carrying Bag.

So than for the last three days I have been working on the Cards that was not done yet and I have Addressed all of the Envelopes for those Cards and put Stamps on them and Return Address Labels which I am using hers for this month and than in March when we do cards again I have my own Address Labels made up with a St. Patty's Clover Leaf on each of my Return Address Label which looks really neat.  I love it...what can I say.  I re-did the Church Directory List on my own computer so I can read it and so I would have everybody's addresses that I might send cards too.  I took all of the Boxes of Cards out of the Bags and I put them all on my Shelf  in my Office.  I have a Card Table all set up here in my office that I can sit down to and do cards and so forth.  I am going to get me a Three Ring Binder to keep the pocket folders in plus my Church Directory and than I can put the Cards in the Pocket Folders for each Month except for January and February.  I pretty much have this all organized now like I want it and it will be easier on me as well too.  Than I take the cards that I have done and put them in a little Bath & Body Works Carrying Bag and I take that Bag to the Lydia Circle and than we all sign our names to the Cards.  Than the next day I take those Cards to the Post Office and I mail them out.

I got the worst part of it done now which I am so very Thankful that I do.  I don't have to do anything now until Wednesday when I go to the Lydia Circle at my church and take the Cards for everyone to sign and than I will take them to the Post Office the next morning.

Thank you all for all of your beautiful comments.  I really appreciate them so very much.

I think that is all for now...

Take Care

Been Stitching

Dear Friends

I have been stitching this week - I have stitched on

Advice From A Caterpillar by Scott Gustafson - HAED
Beloved Rose Of Sharon by Paula Vaughan
Daisy Offerings by Sandra Kuck - HAED

I will show pictures of my progress sometime between today and tomorrow.

I have been reading three books and the are:

J is for Judgment by Sue Grafton - four more chapters left to read - the chapters are long toward the end of the book.- Mystery - Physical Paperback Book

Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe - Reading 10 Pages a Day in it - Classic

The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen - Mystery - Kindle Book

We have been having Rain for the last two days non stop practically.  At least it is not snowing out - thank goodness.  My older brother got me two big bags of Salt and a Big Bucket of Salt for my Sidewalk and Steps.  I think I am all set now.  He got it at Menards.  The Salt does not wreck your sidewalk or steps.

Buttercup is doing fine - my little 4 month old kitty - he is so dang orniery.  Every time I sit down to eat he wants to eat what I want...Geesh.  Every time I go into my Bathroom he follows me right into my Bathroom - No Privacy whatsoever...LOL....Whenever somebody comes into my house he will go and hide under the couch.  We play every night with his mousies on the long poles.  He loves to snuggle and be covered up with his fleece blanket.  He does not like Thunder or loud noise.  It scares him and he will go and hide under the couch.  He gets plenty of snuggling and plenty of lovin that is for sure.  He loves to lay on my lap, be covered up with his fleece blanket, and purrs away until he falls asleep.

I have a Question for those of you who has a IPHONE 7 or above -

Do any of you buy more I Cloud storage for your phone.  I don't have enough memory left or space or whatever it is called to Back Up My Phone and it would cost me .99 cents per month if I buy more storage and I think its like 50 GB or MB something more storage.

I also have another question too.....

For those of you who have I Tunes on your Phone - if you buy a song does that mean that you have to pay for that song every month or is it just a one time thing or do you pay for that song once a year?

Thank you to my new Followers that are following my Blog.  Thank you so very much.

I think I am all caught up now with everything....

God Bless You
