Been Stitching

Dear Friends

I have been stitching this week - I have stitched on

Advice From A Caterpillar by Scott Gustafson - HAED
Beloved Rose Of Sharon by Paula Vaughan
Daisy Offerings by Sandra Kuck - HAED

I will show pictures of my progress sometime between today and tomorrow.

I have been reading three books and the are:

J is for Judgment by Sue Grafton - four more chapters left to read - the chapters are long toward the end of the book.- Mystery - Physical Paperback Book

Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe - Reading 10 Pages a Day in it - Classic

The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen - Mystery - Kindle Book

We have been having Rain for the last two days non stop practically.  At least it is not snowing out - thank goodness.  My older brother got me two big bags of Salt and a Big Bucket of Salt for my Sidewalk and Steps.  I think I am all set now.  He got it at Menards.  The Salt does not wreck your sidewalk or steps.

Buttercup is doing fine - my little 4 month old kitty - he is so dang orniery.  Every time I sit down to eat he wants to eat what I want...Geesh.  Every time I go into my Bathroom he follows me right into my Bathroom - No Privacy whatsoever...LOL....Whenever somebody comes into my house he will go and hide under the couch.  We play every night with his mousies on the long poles.  He loves to snuggle and be covered up with his fleece blanket.  He does not like Thunder or loud noise.  It scares him and he will go and hide under the couch.  He gets plenty of snuggling and plenty of lovin that is for sure.  He loves to lay on my lap, be covered up with his fleece blanket, and purrs away until he falls asleep.

I have a Question for those of you who has a IPHONE 7 or above -

Do any of you buy more I Cloud storage for your phone.  I don't have enough memory left or space or whatever it is called to Back Up My Phone and it would cost me .99 cents per month if I buy more storage and I think its like 50 GB or MB something more storage.

I also have another question too.....

For those of you who have I Tunes on your Phone - if you buy a song does that mean that you have to pay for that song every month or is it just a one time thing or do you pay for that song once a year?

Thank you to my new Followers that are following my Blog.  Thank you so very much.

I think I am all caught up now with everything....

God Bless You

Buttercup - My New Kitty

This is my New Kitty that I got.  He is now 4 months old as of today - Today is his Birthday - Tuesday Nov 7, 2017.  I love him to death.  His name is Buttercup.  He loves to be carried around in my arms while I am doing different things around the house.  He loves to lick the Jelly off of my Toast.  He loves to take a few sips of my Coffee in the mornings.  I let him have the Freedom around the house and than I put him in his room at night right before I go to bed.

He is dang full of energy and so funny.  He cracks me up sometimes.  If I don't carry him around the house especially in the mornings he will have a Meowing fit - LOL.  He loves to lay on my lap in the afternoons and take his afternoon naps.

Good Morning

Dear Friends

I just want to say Thank you for all of the comments that I have been getting lately.  Thank you so very much.  I really appreciate them so very much.  They mean so much to me.

I want to thank all of my New Followers that I have been getting lately for following my Blog.  Thank you so much.

I have been reading alot lately and right now I am Currently Reading "J is for Judgment" by Sue Grafton.  I am almost at my Half Way Point.  When I get this book finished than I am going to read "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher Stowe.  I have been wanting to read this for a very long time.

Yesterday my older brother and his wife took me Grocery Shopping in the Big City.  We went to Aldi's first and got some of our groceries and than we went to Walmart to get the rest of our groceries.  Than we stop at Culver's to have our Lunch.  My brother and I got Mushroom Swiss Burger Basket plus our drink.  Oh my gosh that was so good.  Oh I love their Mushroom Swiss Burger Basket.  I don't get into the Big City very often and when I do my brother and my Sister In Law takes me.  I love eating at Culver's.  If you have a Culver's near you - you have to eat their Mushroom Swiss Burger and their fries of course cause its very delicious.

We have been having very fallish weather - rainy - cold - wet - dreary weather.  We are suppose to get Rain today and its suppose to be stormy out tomorrow.  I am hoping that it does not storm until after I get home from Church.

I have been stitching some this week but not very much.  I have tons of Confetti Stitching to do in my one stitching project so I only do a little bit each day until I am done with the Confetti Stitching.  I am also still stitching on my HAED Project too - Daisy Offerings.

My New Kitty - Buttercup - is doing just fine - orniery as ever and so full of energy.  I am taking him to his Vet for his first set of Shots.  He does not have ear mites anymore and his Eye is completely healed up and he does not have Heart Worms anymore either so he is as healthy as a horse which I am so very thankful for.  His Birthday is on November 7th.

I ordered one book called "One Thousand White Women" by Jim Fergus from Amazon.  It is a story about a Woman and what she goes through in life.  It is a thick book and it is really good.  A lot of my Book Tube Friends are reading this book right now.  I will get my Book on Monday.  As soon as I get J is for Judgement finished and get Uncle Tom's Cabin Read than I will read "One Thousand White Women" next.

I went on Vacation the last week of October and I had a great time.  I got to see my friends - got to go to my favorite Church - got to go to a Halloween Party - got to go to Barnes and Nobles - Got to go to Ziano's to eat Italian Food - got to go to Cracker Barrel to eat as well which was last Friday.  My friend and I ate at Ziano's last Thursday.  The food was very delicious at both places.

Well I think this will do it for me....

Have a Lovely Day - Evening - Morning - Noon - depending where you live at.

God Bless You

Thank you

Dear Friends

I just want to say Thank You from the Bottom of my Heart for all of the Comments about my Beloved Railroad who passed away on Friday Oct 6, 2017.  Thank you so very much.  It has been rough over the last couple of weeks but I know that he is at Peace Now and that he is not suffering anymore.  I am so very grateful for that.  I do not like to see a animal - pet suffer at all.  It just breaks my heart into a million pieces.

I had Railroad cremated and I got his Ashes - they are in a beautiful Tin and I love the Tin and his name and death date is on the bottom of the Tin which I dearly love.  I have his Tin next to Chewy's Tin and Peanut's Tin.

I did get another Kitty and he is three months old and he is such a adorable lovable orniery kitty and I love him to death.  Right now he is staying in my Library Room.  Next month he is going for his Kitty Check Up.  His name is Buttercup.  He looks just like a lil Buttercup...Haha!  I carry him around the house with me when I am getting his food and all of that and he loves to stay in my arm and just look around.  I am going to get him declawed sometime in December.  And than I think I am going to let him have the run of the house after that is done.

I have been stitching some on three of my projects - I am taking my time in stitching on them.

Right now I just basically want to Read.  I have checked out three books from my Local Library and Three Magazines which is Ranger Rick Magazines.  I love these Magazines.  I get the National Geographic for Kids Magazines here at home.

I am currently reading "J is for Judgment" by Sue Grafton - my own paperback copy.  I am also reading "The Killing Edge" by Heather Graham.  I love Heather Graham Books.  They are so good.  She is a Mystery Writer and she reminds me of James Patterson.  Her Books are similar to James Patterson Books that they keep you on your toes and you can't hardly put the books down at all.  I am thinking about reading one of my Classics as well too which I have alot of Classic Books.  I don't know which one yet.  I am thinking about a Charles Dickens Book.

I have been spending alot of time at my Local Library...I love going in and looking at the old books and talking to the two Librarians.  My Library has the two best Librarians that we have had in a very long time.  Everybody just loves them and they are so nice and they work really hard for the town Library.  I am so very excited about our new Library that is being built and it will be done by next Summer....I cannot wait.  We are also switching over to the Ever Green Library System too hopefully before they move over to the New Library.  My Local Library is not affiliated with the County Library System so the Ever Green Library System is for small Indiana Libraries that is not affiliated with any other Big County Library System.   I will have a Ever Green Library Card by the end of this year or the first of next year hopefully.  My New Library Card will be Green and White. We will be able to keep our books for three weeks instead of two weeks and we can check out up to 100 books at one time which we can do now too if we want to.

We have been having our Indian Autumn Weather where I live at here in Northern Indiana.  It is nice out - warm - cool out - during the day time and than at night it gets down to the 40's.  Next Week it is going to get down in the 30's.  Now that is cold...YIKES!  We are suppose to have Rain today - through tomorrow night so we shall see...mostly at night.

Once again Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the comments about my beloved Railroad.  It means alot to me and you all were there for me as well.  Thank you.

God Bless You
Love & Prayers

My Beloved Railroad - My Cat - has passed away

Dear Friends

This Past Friday - Oct 6, 2017 - My Beloved Railroad - My Cat - passed away at 7 a.m. in our Kitchen.  He was laying in front of our Kitchen Sink.  My Heart just sank clear to the ground.  When he took his last Breath on Friday at 7 a.m. part of my heart went with him.  I was so upset!

Railroad found me one early summery night - morning when I was out walking and he was just a baby kitty back then...maybe a year old.  That little stinker followed me all the way home - 6 blocks - on his tiny little paws.  I did pick him up at one point and carried him for a while but he wanted back down and he walked right beside me all the way home.  We was near the Railroad Tracks when he decided that I was going to be his Mommy for the rest of his life and he told me that he was going to come home with me and live with me.  Sure enough he did.

He slept in my car that night on top of my hooded sweatshirt that was laying in my back seat.  I gave him water and food and put it in my car.  That little stinker curl up and went right to sleep and he slept all night long on that hooded sweatshirt.  He was completely worn out and so sleepy.  I had my window down part way so he could get fresh air.

The next morning I took him back where he found me and I felt so dang guilty that I went back and pick him up again and he lived with me than for the rest of his life until Friday Morning Oct 6, 2017 when he took his last breath at 7 a.m.

I am having him cremated and I get his Ashes back.  I now have Chewy's Ashes - Peanut's Ashes - and pretty soon I get Railroad's Ashes.

I was so upset this past weekend plus Sunday was my Dad's Birthday and Railroad passed away two days before my Dad's Birthday.  I was a mess this past weekend.  Railroad was the love of my life and he knew that early morning that he would be very well taken care of and very spoiled at that when he followed me all the way home and after I went and pick up again from the same place and brought him home.  He was sure orniery.

He did not show no signs of being sick or nothing - he was fine until 5 a.m. Friday morning when he woke me up crying out.  My Vet does not open up until 7:30 so as soon as my Vet open up I took my poor Railroad to the Vet.  Well he died at 7 a.m. that morning.

Railroad was the love of my life - he was my very first kitty cat that I got to keep and to spoil.  I am so very lost without him.  The hard part is when I get up in the mornings.  He is no longer here to wake me up - to beg for his Tuna Fish - to run to the refrigerator after he would wake me up and let me know that it was time for his Tuna Breakfast.  Every morning he would run to the refrigerator - wait for me to open the Refrigerator Door - stick his head inside of the Refrigetator and tell me where his Tuna fish was at - than I would put his Tuna Fish in his special tuna fish bowl, just a small amount - and while he was eating his Tuna he would make the most cutest purring sounds that you ever want to hear.

He lived to be 10 years old so his actual age was 70.  I had him for 10 full years.  When I lost both of my dogs - had to be put down - Railroad was there to help me heal up from the loss of my two dogs...he came into my life just at the right time.  Railroad got along really good with my German Shepherd - in fact - they were best of buddies - Railroad would lay up against Chewy's belly and go right to sleep.  My Boston Terrier - Peanut - that is a different story altogether - part of the time they got along and other times they did not so I would just put Peanut in the bedroom and shut the door until he got calm down and than I would let him out of the bedroom.  He had to go and apologize to Railroad...LOL.

As of yesterday I am doing better - I still have my crying moments in the mornings but eventually I will get over that too.  I am so very thankful that Railroad did not have to suffer long cause his crying out just broke my heart in half and it was so very heart breaking to listen to him crying out and there was nothing that I could do.  I did take a wet warm wash cloth and rub his back and his face and that help him a little but not much.  I tried so very hard to make him as comfortable as I could.  I felt so sorry for him.

The night before - last Thursday Night - that little stinker decided to dump his cat litter box upside down onto the floor and Cat Litter flew everywhere.  Oh he was being so dang orniery on Thursday and Thursday Night.  He was being himself all the way up to last Friday Morning.  He is not suffering anymore and I an so very thankful for that.  I can't stand to see animals suffer.

My Beloved Railroad is now up in Kitty Kat Heaven and I am sure that he is being just as orniery up there as he was down here on Earth.  I told him to behave himself up there -well you know how that goes...LOL...

The Good News is this - I am getting a 3 month old Kitty tomorrow morning - Wednesday Oct 11th.  He is another Tabby Color Kitty - just like what Railroad was - and he was born on July 6th 2017.  He is three months old now.  I named him Butters.  I am so very excited about getting Butters.

Here is the funny thing about this:

Railroad found me on July 7th 10 years ago - Railroad's Birthday is on July 7th -   Butters was born on July 6th 2017.  A Day apart only in different years.  What a coincidence huh?

God sure has a way of doing things and taking care of us when we need it the most.  Butters could not have come in a better time than now.  He will help me heal over the loss of my Beloved Railroad.  Butters will not be Railroad but at least I will have him to spoil and to cuddle and so on just like I did with Railroad.  I will always hold a special place in my broken heart of Railroad - he will always be part of me for the rest of my life and the love of my life.  It was so very difficult to let go of Railroad last Friday Morning at the Vet's.  I spent some time with him before I said my final goodbye to him.

Once I get Butters I think I will start to feel better because I will have another kitty to hold, to give kisses to, to hug, and to take one million pictures of him.

Everybody was really worried about me because I was so upset and I just wanted to die last weekend when Railroad passed away last Friday.  He was part of me - we loved each other and whenever I was sick or something he would not leave my side.  He was with me at all times.  He followed me in every room that I went to.  He was my side kick.  He was the love of my life.

When I get my new kitty - Mr. Butters - tomorrow morning - I will take a picture of him and post it here on my Blog.  He so reminds me of Railroad due to his colors.

May You Rest In Peace my Beloved Railroad - I will love you forever and you will always hold a special place in my Heart!

Take care
Linda K

What A Beautiful Day

Dear Friends

It is a gorgeous beautiful fall day here in Northern Indiana...the sun is out...the leaves are falling...the trees are turning.  Love the Fall Weather.  Fall is so beautiful with all of the Trees turning and the leaves are falling down to the ground.  I love it!  I love to sit in the mornings in my chair with my Coffee Cup in Hand and Covered up with my Fleece Blanket Reading my Book.  My Mornings could not be more perfect than that.

My girlfriend who I told you about that lost her one brother two months ago...well unfortunately and very sad she lost her one and only living brother.  This family has been through so much over the last few months and when a family loses two brothers - two sons within two months time it is so heart breaking and so very sad.  The Funeral Home was standing room only on the day of the funeral.  Richie loved driving a Truck and he loved to go traveling all over on his motorcycle with his beautiful wife.  They both had their own Motorcycles.  They also loved to go Bowling on Sunday Evenings.  Him and his wife has been all over the USA traveling on their Motorcycles.

On the Day of his Funeral they transformed a Semi - the front part of the Semi - into a Motorcycle and than the rest of it was a flatbed Semi Trailer.  They put his Casket on the Flatbed Trailer and took his casket to the Cemetary.  There was also a Motorcycle Motorcade too that followed behind the Motorcycle/Semi Flatbed Trailer.  He took his last ride through town and the town had flags on each of the light poles in Honor of Richie.  People stood outside of their Businesses and Paid their Respects.  I am sitting here all teary eye telling you this.  It was a very heart warming awesome but yet a very sad day.  He Seved in the Military for a alot of years so they had Military Services at the Graveside.

They had a Funeral Dinner afterwards and they ran out of food during the Funeral Dinner.

My girlfriend and her Mom are doing okay and they have been staying busy which I am glad that they are.  Richie's wife works at a Military Academy in one of the offices so this will help her to keep her mind off of things too a little bit.  Its still going to be very difficult for all of them.  Please keep the Kunkle Family in your Prayers.  They need all of the Prayers that they can get.

I have not been stitching hardly at all - between everything that has been going on in my life I just haven't had the time to Crochet or to Stitch.

Last Weekend my town had our annual Falloween Fest with the Big Huge Parade last Friday Night plus all of the Festivities that went on for the rest of the weekend.  I went to it all three days.  It was a very miserable weekend due to the extreme hot humid weather but the school was open where it was held at since there was activities going on inside the school.  It was nice and cool in the school.  I got my Cherry Snow Cone - My Fish Dinner - My Elephant Ear - My Hot Dog and Fries.  That is all I wanted was those things.  One of the Booths was a Garage Sale and it was held in the back of the school so I went to that and they had tons of books for sale so I bought 4 Young Reader Books that I never heard of before and they sound really good.  I got them like for 25 cents each.  One of them was a Nancy Drew Book - Yes!  I am collecting all of Nancy Drew Books very slowly.

My Town is getting a New Library and they have started to Build the New Library...I am getting so excited.  It is only going to be one floor I think but it is going to be so nice to sit on soft seats - read  or whatever you want to do.  I will be able to walk to the Library too except for during the Winter Months.  The New Library is going to have so many neat things - like the saying goes...it may be small but it will be mighty!  I got to see the Lay Out of the New Library and it is going to be really nice.

Right now I am Reading My Own Books that I have here at home.  I am trying to finish up the Alphabet Mystery Series by Sue Grafton.  I am Reading J right now.  I have Read A - I so far and now I am on J.

I finished reading a Kindle Book called Antiques Swap by Barbara Allen I think that is her last name.  It is a really good book.

I want to get some of my Own Books Read.

Well I think that is all for now....

Have A Beautiful Day

God Bless You
Love & Prayers

Beloved Rose Of Sharon Progress - Other News

Beloved Rose Of Sharon - Designer is Paula Vaughan - Friday August 18, 2017

Beloved Rose Of Sharon

Designer - Paula Vaughan

28 Count Ice Blue Lugana

2 x 2 Full Cross Stitch

I am slowly stitching on this...if you have ever done a Paula Vaughan Pattern you know that there are tons and tons of Quarter Stitches and Back Stitching on her Patterns.  The Section that you see is below the Sewing Machine.  Eventually the Sewing Machine will appear one of these days!

Today we are having very beautiful weather...cool and sunny and that is the way I like it.

I am still reading "The Doldrums" by Nicholas Gannon.  This book is so very good and I dearly love the Old Fashion Illustrations that are in this book.

I have been on a Mama Mia Kick lately and I've been watching this Musical Movie and I just love this Musical.  It is so good.  I dearly love the Songs that they sing in this Musical too.  I am going to be buying the Songs from this Musical from Amazon.  I am going to also get the Sound Track of the songs from this Movie as well too from Amazon.

Oh Speaking of Amazon I sent for another Cozy Crime Mystery Book.  Don't ask me the name of this book because I forgot already and I didn't write it down.  Its a new Author to me.  I love reading Cozy Crime Mystery Books.  They are my favorite Genre's to read.

My older brother has been doing things for me which is mostly changing the light bulbs in my Ceiling Fan Lights.  He buys everything at Menards that he needs.  The newer light bulbs which are so much brighter and takes less electricity to have them on.  My Ceiling Light Bulbs will last for 18 years.  He also bought the same type of Light Bulbs for my Floor Lamps as well too.  Now I have the Brightest Light Bulbs in my house that you ever want to see and they will last for lots of years.  I just use my Reading Lamp which is on my floor lamp as well now instead of the Halogen plus my Reading Lamp.  I don't need my three way bulb anymore cause these newer light bulbs are so bright that they will practically blind you if you stare at them too long.  I won't need to buy anymore light bulbs now for lots of years which I am so glad of that.  Menards has the cheapest Light Bulbs...you can buy the newer light bulbs in a pack for around 4 or 5 I think and you get more for you Money.  They have them for Ceiling Lights and for 60 watt light bulbs too.  The 60 Watt Light bulbs - the new ones in place of them - they only use 15 Watts of Electricity and that is it.  Like I said I dearly love these new Light Bulbs - they use less electricity - and they are really bright.  I am in love with them.

I think that is all for now....

God Bless You
Love & Prayers
